Good food can play such a huge part of a trip, holiday or experience. It is the nourishing reward after physical exertion, the flavours of new cultures and places, the tastes you take home with you and the memories of happy meals shared around a table.
Exceptional food has always been part of our retreat objectives and we have been lucky enough to work with incredible retreat chefs who have created meals as memorable as any other element of our experiences. Bettina Campolucci-Bordi has a wealth of experience in cooking, teaching, writing and The Wellness Industry. After four years leading Reclaim Your Self kitchens, this November she will be leading our very first food focused retreat in India.
Join Bettina for an unforgettable 10 day retreat, exploring vibrant Rajasthan and the majestic Himalayas. This brand new itinerary will combine sourcing and cooking local produce, with slow travel in first-class sleeper trains and trekking in the Himalaya.

Bettina’s Kitchen
Bettina is a best-selling cookbook author endorsed by Jamie Oliver and runs ‘The Bettina’s Kitchen Retreat Chef Academy’ sharing her experience with aspiring retreat chefs.
“Everything I do honours my own beliefs around food and wellness and aligns with my philosophies: that we should eat seasonally, locally and from farm to table as much as we can; we should support small businesses within our communities; we must use roots, shoots and all! Cooking waste free is particularly important to me; and we must let our veggies do the talking – the best plant food is fuss-free, simple, easy, inexpensive and speaks for itself.”

If you are a food lover looking for a retreat to remember, join us this November in India. On this retreat you will be learning how to compose beautiful plant based meals with local produce and the basics of plant-based cooking, along with meal composition, key ingredients and cooking techniques. Bettina’s expert knowledge will be entwined with the skills of our local kitchen teams and we will explore the principles of Indian cooking and Ayurveda. This retreat will give you many skills that you can bring home and apply to anywhere you are.

We source our ingredients from local producers whenever we can. If we have the opportunity, we also head out with our local teams to forage local herbs, fruits and berries. We aim to create zero food waste so our menus are designed so that leftovers can be safely reused in other meals. We purchase fresh produce that is free from packaging whenever we can.
