Mongolia Yoga & Wellness Holidays

Mongolia is where your idea of ‘big’ gets rewritten. Out on the steppe, the world opens in every direction: huge skies, deafening silence, and a vast, untouched wilderness that feels otherworldly. Nomadic families still move with the seasons, herds ripple through the grasslands, and nights fall beneath star-filled skies so bright they seem close enough to touch.

Our Mongolia yoga and wellness holidays are for the bold. We work closely with nomadic communities to offer adventures in the Gobi Desert and the wild valleys of Khan Khentii. Retreats that ask a little more of you, and give back what most of us don't get enough of: space, stillness, and that unmistakable feeling of awe that stays with you.

Jools and Jean are a brilliant team who ensure a comfortable stay in the centre of Darjeeling. It was a real pleasure to know that you’re in safe and capable hands, with people who are genuinely and wholeheartedly dedicated to their work. I’ll definitely be returning to the retreats, and I wish you all the best.

I highly recommend Reclaim yourself Retreats! I have been on 3 so far and definitely plan to go on more. All the details are taken care of and the locations are always amazing. The instructors/hosts are so awesome too. I just got back from Iceland, incredible!

From start to finish, my experience with Reclaim Yourself Retreats in Jordan was unmatched. The food was incredible, the people were warm and welcoming, and every activity was thoughtfully planned. Honestly, it was perfect. Every detail was taken care of, so all I had to do was show up and soak it all in. If you've been thinking about Jordan, go with Reclaim. I can't recommend them enough.

I came away from the yoga retreat in Jordan feeling genuinely grateful for the experience. I appreciated the warmth of the yoga teacher and the sense of community within the group.I found the retreat deeply rewarding. It gave me a chance to pause, breathe and experience Jordan in a very different way. Jools Sampson worked with some amazing local experts on the ground and the people were certainly one of the most memorable part of the retreat. I left having made some wonderful new friends and shared experiences that I will remember for a long time. Thank you Jools and James for having me.

Our second trip with Reclaim Yourself, and we’ve booked two more ! These retreats are exceptionally well run with an imaginative itinerary - our Jordan trip included stargazing, a ballon trip at sunrise and a desert camel rides. Quality of accommodation is excellent, with the emphasis on responsible travel and heritage properties from havelis in India to desert pods in Wadi Rum. Would highly recommend!

Reclaim's Mongolia Retreat was my first (a) Yoga Retreat and (b) Group Travel trip (& as a solo participant). Count myself lucky to be a Reclaim Alum & will be back for more! Jools & team did an fantastic job balancing the travel, trip-experiences & yoga across two magnificant destinations. While each of the 10 days flew by, the pace remained unhurried and I was able to fully engage through all the activities. I really appreciated how the team fostered a warm & friendly environment across the small group, and it was a truly lovely communal experience. Major shout-out to Kelly for the menu & food as well - I am not a vegetarian, but did not miss meat at all over the trip! Yoga with James was eye-opening as well, with the yurts providing a really grounding experience. We all received personal attention/modifications during the group classes that catered to varying levels of practice. Beyond the new poses & transitions, my foundation has really improved with his attention to micro-detail & expertise across breadth, movement & focus. Grateful to have been a part of this trip & massive thank you to Jools & James for the experience. 10/10. Highly Recommended!

Yoga retreats in Mongolia

Why choose Mongolia for your yoga retreat?

Mongolia is wilderness in its truest sense. It’s raw, remote, and refreshingly unfiltered; the kind of place where plans shift with the weather and you learn to meet each moment as it comes.

And that’s exactly why it works so well for a wellness adventure. You slow down. You switch off properly (quite literally — there’s barely any signal). You lean into long journeys, fire-warmed showers, unexpected moments, and a spaciousness that makes everything feel simpler again. Somewhere between the desert stillness and the mountain valleys, something in you unwinds.

Our Mongolia Yoga Adventures

Our Mongolia yoga adventures take you deep into two contrasting worlds: the quiet, moon-like stretches of the Gobi Desert and the lush, horse-filled valleys of the Khan Khentii. You’ll stay in private ger camps built with nomadic families — simple, comfy spaces that bring you close to the land and its people.

Expect daily yoga in ornate gers, hikes across rocky steppe, optional horse rides, yurt saunas (strongly encouraged), river dips, and off-grid meals that have no business being as good as they are. Here, simple rituals become moments to savour — a shower warmed over a hot-stones, or a night-time dash to the loo under a sky so thick with stars you end up stopping to stare. By evening, you’ll be tending your fire as stories drift into the dark, the stove’s gentle crackle easing you into sleep. It’s wild, immersive, and the kind of adventure that stays with you.
