Winter, Reclaimed: Our New London Collab with Slomo

By: Hannah Hesford | December 5, 2025

Yep, winter’s definitely got its foot in the door now, hasn’t it? Shorter days, heavier routines, the pressure to “start the year strong,” and that little voice that says, “let’s just get through this bit.

We’ve always believed winter doesn’t have to be something you endure. It can be reclaimed — made a little calmer, kinder, and easier to move through — if you give yourself permission to pause.

Weekly Yoga & Breathwork in King’s Cross

That’s why we’re excited to team up with our pals at Slomo to offer a six-week series of Reclaim-led yoga and breathwork sessions at their sauna-and-cold-plunge pop-up in King’s Cross — a cosy antidote to the colder months. It’s our first time offering a retreat-style experience like this in London, giving you a simple, accessible way to reset this winter — a retreat, just closer to home.

Class Plans & How to Book:

Reclaim yoga and breath work, every Saturday: 17 January – 21 February

Our teachers will be offering Reclaim Yourself yoga and breathwork sessions every Saturday in Slomo’s cosy tipi tent. Sessions are £14 — intentionally affordable, so more people can access these practices. And if you’d like the full retreat finish, Slomo’s sauna and cold plunge are available afterwards for £12.

  • 10:00 Yoga — spacious, grounding sessions to bring you back into your body
  • 12:00 Breathwork — a midday reset to soothe the nervous system and create space inside

And we aren’t stopping here! We’re also joining forces with Slomo for an epic Nepal wellness adventure in 2026 — with the same care, creativity and vibe you’ll get a taste of in these sessions. More on that below…

So, why Slomo?

We’ve been big fans of Slomo for a while. After sneaking in a few post-work sauna-and-plunge sessions at their King’s Cross pop-up last winter, we can confirm: finding true stillness in the middle of the city is a rare gift.

Created by Robby and Josie da Bank — yes, the Bestival legends — Slomo exists as a kind of antidote to 21st-century overwhelm. Their mission: get people feeling the physical and mental benefits of wellbeing, quickly. Think next-generation contrast therapy, Nordic spas, breathwork, meditation, sound healing… all designed to cut through the chitter-chatter and get you back into your body.

When the idea of teaming up came around, it just made sense — shared values, shared curiosity, and the same love of creating experiences that genuinely lift people up. And with January being… well, January, offering a small weekly wellness ritual in the heart of London felt like the perfect way to help people feel better — a little dose of retreat magic, no plane required.

Why ‘Contrast Therapy’ feels so good:

Contrast therapy — the simple ritual of moving between heat and cold — is one of those things you try once and immediately feel the difference. The shift between temperatures gives your whole system a gentle reset — your heart, your breath, your circulation — and you can feel it almost instantly. Muscles soften, tension drops, and everything seems to flow a little better.

From King’s Cross to the Himalayas…

This wellness event is just a small taste of something bigger — a preview of the same steady, feel-good energy we’ll carry with us to Nepal in 2026, and the beginning of what we hope will be a long and brilliant partnership.

Nepal: A Himalayan adventure with Rob & Josie Da Bank

14-22 November 2026
Join Robby and Josie da Bank in one of Nepal’s most tucked-away mountain regions, where yoga, meditation, sauna sessions and cold plunges sit alongside hikes and wild swims. It’s a full-bodied wellness adventure.
