BIG ADVENTURES

Wellness doesn't always look like stillness. Sometimes it happens at minus fifteen degrees on a snowmobile in the Arctic, or riding with nomadic horsemen in Mongolia, or reaching a summit you weren't sure you had in you, with nothing but mountains as far as you can see.

Somewhere along the way, you come back to yourself. Often in the moments you least expected: halfway up a mountain, or floating in an Arctic fjord, or just sitting with it all as the sun goes down. The yoga helps too, obviously.

Further. Wilder. Better.

Standing face-to-face with a glacier. Mushing through snow-covered forests, a husky team pulling you forward into silence. Waking at dawn in the Gobi Desert to nothing but sand, sky, and stillness in every direction. For some people, these are the experiences that shift something — body fully engaged, the rest of life a long way off.

These retreats are for people who want to go further: push a little harder, try something they've never done before, and remember who they are when they're fully alive. With a dedicated retreat leader beside you, you're never out on a limb. Just out of your comfort zone, which is exactly where the good stuff happens.

Big Adventures in Wild Places

These are the places that hold our biggest adventures — the ones that take you further out, stretch your edges, and bring you back feeling clearer, lighter and more like yourself again.

mongolia

If wild, remote wilderness has always called to you — hello, Mongolia. Half the adventure is just getting there: the Trans-Mongolian train rolling through the Gobi Desert, arriving at camp to big skies in every direction and a pace of life that makes your usual one feel very far away.

Days take you into the Khaan Khentii wilderness: wildflower meadows, nomadic families, horse riding, yoga out there in the wild, and a riverside sauna whenever the mood takes you. Then night falls. Stars everywhere, total silence, and the occasional dash to the loo under the Milky Way.

patagonia

There are places that make you feel small in the best possible way. Patagonia is one of them — raw, elemental, and like nowhere else on earth.

Days are spent hiking through vast valleys, along glacial lakes and beneath jagged peaks, sometimes with the distant crack of a glacier echoing across the landscape. Properly off-grid at times too: no signal, no scrolling, just crackling fires and whatever's right in front of you. It asks a lot of you. It gives back more.

Finland

Like stepping inside a snow globe, except you're out in it, moving through it, and no one is shaking you about. Finnish Lapland means snowshoeing through forests, mushing your own husky team across frozen landscapes, cold water dips (willingly, which might surprise you), and yoga woven through it all.

Then there's the saunas (of course), crackling fires, and that particular contrast of cold air and warmth that leaves you feeling cosy and completely alive. And every so often, a late-night dash outside, half-asleep and wrapped up, to catch the Northern Lights swirling overhead. Finland has a habit of getting people to do things they never thought they would, and loving every second.

NORWAY

Norway is one big adventure playground. Midnight sun hikes, kayaking through endless golden light, floating in Arctic waters (in a survival suit, obviously) — mountains and fjords rising up all around you, weaving between tiny islands, cliffs dropping straight into the sea and the odd fishing village tucked quietly into the gaps. You're in it the whole time — on foot, on the water, occasionally questioning your life choices as you step into a freezing fjord — and then weirdly wanting to do it again.
