These retreats go somewhere most people don't. Yoga in the shadow of Patagonia's peaks. Sunrise meditation above the clouds in the Himalayas. Long hikes out in the Gobi Desert. Extraordinary places, thoughtfully chosen, well off the beaten path.
They're not for everyone. They take a little more to reach and often ask a little more of you. But if you're drawn to places like this, you already know why.

What wild places do
We humans have always been pulled towards the wild, even if most of our lives don't look like that anymore. Maybe it's something ancient. A familiarity we can't quite explain.
There's something about being somewhere vast and untamed that loosens the grip of everything else. The noise, the screens, the relentlessness. It just falls away. And in its place — space. Quiet. The strange relief of feeling very small.
That's what wild places do. They bring you back to yourself.

WELLNESS IN THE wild
The places we go shape everything. Wellness isn't something added on, it comes from where you are.
Riverside saunas. Ice-hole plunges. Sunrise meditation on mountain ridges. Evening tai chi in wildflower meadows. Yoga in off-grid lodges deep within national parks. Deep sleep under dark desert skies. For a while, normal life drops away, and it all becomes a bit more elemental.
When the world around you is this raw and alive, it's hard not to feel the same way.

The wild places we go
These are the places a little further out, where the landscape leads, and everything else follows.
mongolia
Few people ever experience Mongolia like this. We've been leading retreats here since 2017, working with the same nomadic families at our own private camp. And every time, without fail, it does something to us.
Out here, the usual noise just stops. The mental load, the relentless need to be on top of everything. Gone. What's left is big skies, long days and the strange, welcome feeling of being very small in a very big world.
Our retreats take you from the Gobi to the Khan Khentii wilderness: wildflower meadows, rolling hills, herds of horses moving across the steppe, and quite possibly the world's wildest riverside sauna. We think so, anyway.
NEPAL
Think of Nepal and you probably picture prayer flags, trekkers, and one very famous mountain. But it's the wilder, less travelled side that called to us, based in one of the country's most hidden and awe-inspiring mountain regions.
Days take you to remote monasteries, lunch with a Sherpa family, yoga somewhere you'll never forget. And for anyone who wants to go a little further, a night camping above the clouds, sunrise meditation as your alarm call. Wild and still, in equal measure.
A bracing plunge into a glacial river. The heat of a sauna out in the wild. Stepping out onto a mountain ridge as the light comes up around you. Nepal does things to people. Good things.
patagonia
Patagonia is one of those places that doesn't quite feel real when you're in it. Huge glaciers, sharp peaks, that endless Patagonian wind — everything feels bigger, wilder, and a little untamed.
We spend our time out in it. Walking through national parks, getting close to the ice, watching the landscape shift with the light and weather, then coming back to somewhere warm. Good food, a hot shower, a crackling fire, yoga, and space to let your body catch up with everything you've taken in.
It more than lives up to it. Whatever you were expecting, go bigger.
