If you are considering applying to join our team as a Retreat Leader, please read the following information thoroughly.

Being a Retreat Leader is a challenging and rewarding role, where you’ll be leading our retreat teams, overseeing our guests wellness experience and managing the retreat logistics. This not a yoga teacher role or a retreat assistant job, but a leadership role – managing all the elements required to make a retreat a positive and transformational experience for everyone.

You’ll need five years + proven experience in leading events or retreats, or being a tour group leader. Experience in managing international teams, leading client groups and managing group dynamics is essential.

We have a carefully planned recruitment and training process in place, as we want to be sure the role is right for you. Our aim is to find Retreat Leaders who are committed to being part of our team as we grow.

Here is our process

1. Request the job description and check if this is a good fit for you.
2. Complete the application form below. The closing date is 30 May 2025.
3. If you are shortlisted, you’ll be asked to attend an interview in July 2025.
4. If you are successful, we will offer you a Retreat Leader role with a trial period in place.
5. During your trial period you will be required to attend our online leadership training and attend a retreat for one-to-one training with the business owner.

Your trial period

Your trial period is designed to provide in depth training and for us to get to know each other before you begin leading your own retreats. Once you enter your trial period, these are the expenses that Reclaim Yourself will cover for your training:

1. Your leadership training (£1500)
2. Your one-to-one training on retreat with the business owner (£750)
3. Your accommodation on your training retreat (tbc depending on location)
4. All your meals on retreat (tbc depending on location)
5. Your in-country transfers on your retreat (tbc depending on location)
6. Any additional excursions on your retreat (tbc depending on location)

Note that if you reach the end of your trial period and you decide not to go ahead with the role or you are unable to work on a minimum of three retreats within a 12 month period, you will be required to reimburse the above  costs.

You will cover the costs of travel to your trial retreat. We request that you follow our responsible travel policy as we track and manage our carbon emissions.

Once you are confirmed in the role, these are the expenses that Reclaim Yourself will cover:

1. Your daily rate
2. Your travel and in-country transfers
3. Your accommodation on retreat
4. All your meals on retreat
5. Any additional excursions on retreat
