We have created a 5 night/4 day retreat filled with epic winter activities especially for you. You’ll begin your day gently with a sauna followed by a 75 minute flow yoga class, then it’s time to fuel up for your day with a hearty breakfast. As soon as it’s light, we will be out and about on our arctic adventures. Once it gets dark again, we head back to our cabin for a rest and an afternoon yoga session, designed to rebalance your mind and body after your exhilarating days out.
On Sunday there will be the option go skiing or snow boarding at Ylläs (for those with experience) or you can can opt for a snow mobiling adventure. On Monday we will visit our friends at a small family run husky farm and spend some quality time with their huskies, including a thrilling self-drive sledding experience. On Tuesday you can try snow shoeing in the wilderness or head back to the slopes. On Wednesday we head to a traditional sauna and icehole on the shores of Lake Äkäslompolo so you can experience the soothing warmth of a wood-fired sauna, relax by the fire and then dive into the refreshing icy water.
At this time of the year there is daylight from mid-morning to mid-afternoon and usually plenty of Northern Lights in-between – maybe you’ll even see them while you’re having your breakfast!
Want more? If you’re not ready to go home, we can offer you an extra day on the 18th. Our “wilderness and wonder day” curated and hosted by Jools, includes a 17km snowmobile mission to a wilderness hut by a remote lake, surrounded by snowy forest. Once we reach our destination we’ll have lunch and then enjoy a traditional sauna and ice-dipping experience. Once we are completely refreshed, we will take our snowmobiles and drive back to civilisation, and maybe we will even have some aurora to light the way home. Our special day ends with a delicious dinner at Millu. Available on request for £375 person.
Who's Teaching: Faye Shekhar

Faye has been teaching yoga and meditation for over 15 years and her Finland classes will support and inspire your daily adventures.
Your morning begins with an optional 75-minute dynamic asana practice, led by Faye. These sessions feature a soulful and progressive sequence of asanas, enriched with eclectic playlists, mantra, and ancient wisdom to bring depth and meaning to the practice. Modifications and progressions are provided to suit all levels, and hands-on assists are offered when appropriate and desired.
In the afternoon, our sessions take on a more introspective tone, blending pranayama, somatic movement, restorative practices, and meditation. These practices are designed to recalibrate the nervous system, fostering deep relaxation and helping you ease into rest after the excitement of our vibrant, busy days.

This retreat is perfect for those with an adventurous spirit and a passion for nature. A good level of fitness is essential as we will have a snowy adventure every day, alongside invigorating yoga sessions. Be ready for a challenge and to sometimes be out of your comfort zone.
It will be cold and snowy so you’ll need good boots and warm layers (our hosts provide winter overalls for husky sledding). If you are skiing or snow boarding, you’ll need your own ski clothing but you can rent ski and snow board equipment.
This is an invite only retreat for those who have been on a retreat with us before.
