Our retreat is set in a secluded corner of the Cyclades, where the hills fold down to a crescent-shaped cove of golden sand and crystal-clear water. The homestead is a cluster of beautifully designed stone cottages, built to blend seamlessly into the landscape and surrounded by a lush garden scented with honeysuckle, bright with colourful flowers, and enriched by a well-tended vegetable patch that supplies the kitchen. At times you may hear the soft tinkle of sheep and goat bells drifting down from the hills, or the call of a shepherd carrying across the valley — reminders of the island’s gentle, unhurried way of life.
Alongside the cottages, there’s a pool with a sunbathing terrace, offering a quiet place to cool off or simply stretch out under the sun. Each house has its own spacious, private deck where you can read, rest or enjoy the stillness of the valley. From the gardens, a shaded path follows the riverbank down to the sea and our wonderful beach.
Days here move with a gentle rhythm, shaped by yoga, the sea and time to rest. Each morning begins in the open-sided yoga dome beneath the trees, where Lucy leads an embodied and playful vinyasa flow — strengthening and uplifting, with breathwork and meditation woven through. After practice, a delicious breakfast is served, followed by time to swim, read, or simply relax. A light lunch is shared outdoors before the long, slow hours of the afternoon unfold — whether by the pool, on your private deck, or down at the beach.
As the heat of the day softens, evenings invite slower, more reflective practices in the yoga dome — Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra — creating space for deep release and renewal. Afterwards, dinner is enjoyed together, with long summer evenings drifting into starlit skies.
Beyond the yoga and meals, the retreat invites you to savour the island at your own pace. Drift between the pool and the sea, take a massage to fully unwind, or wander along shady paths that follow the valley to the coast. A short walk inland brings you to a small waterfall and natural dipping pool — the perfect place to cool off in the shade, often accompanied by the sound of goats grazing on the hillsides above.
Midweek, there is the option to join a boat trip exploring hidden coves and beaches, and one evening we will travel by boat to the island’s capital, Chora, for shopping and dinner out. On our final night, we’ll gather for a fire on the beach and close our week together beneath the stars.
