India: A cultural yoga journey with Anna Taylor
From Tea Hills to Sacred Cities
Travel from the tea-covered hills and tropical backwaters of Kerala to Varanasi during Diwali and the tangled streets of Old Delhi on an extraordinary journey across India.
We begin among Kerala’s tea plantations before slowing the pace at an Ayurvedic spa, with treatments, yoga and time on the water. From here, we head north to Varanasi for Diwali, exploring its narrow lanes and riverside ghats, taking a boat onto the Ganges and witnessing the evening ceremonies that have taken place here for centuries.
The journey ends in Delhi, reached aboard one of India’s legendary sleeper trains, with our final night in a heritage haveli in the old city. Throughout the retreat, Anna Taylor leads daily yoga and meditation, woven around regional food, markets, temples and the journey itself.
