Our destination is the northwest coast of Senja Island, an incredibly beautiful part of Norway where steep, majestic mountains plunge straight into the sea and pearly white beaches fringe a small archipelago of uninhabited islands. You will stay in stylish apartments set around the harbour of an old fishing village, with uninterrupted views out to the water.
Start your day with an optional cold-water dip in the fjord, invigorating your senses before you immerse yourself in a rejuvenating yoga practice with Anna. Anna brings her mindful, compassionate approach to yoga to all her teachings. Morning sessions provide a nourishing slow, flowing practice with meditation and relaxation, supporting bodies, hearts and minds in opening to ourselves and the stunning scenery around.
Your retreat includes four unforgettable experiences, each designed to connect you with the wild nature all around us. We will go on a full-day guided hike up Husfjellet mountain, where sweeping panoramic views reveal the rugged beauty of Senja’s coastline. You will also enjoy a gentle body-rafting journey, floating along an Arctic stream. Another day takes you up the trail to Sukkertoppen mountain to enjoy views of our retreat home from above. Our highlight is a magical evening on a remote Arctic island, reached by boat or kayak, where you can bask in the soft, unending glow of the midnight sun.
For those seeking even more excitement, you can book additional activities such as a kayaking trip, paddleboard rental, or an exhilarating E-bike and wild swimming expedition. Or you can choose to unwind with a hot tub and sauna session, with views over the fjords and mountains beyond.
End your day with a soothing yoga session to relax your mind and body after a full day outdoors. After dinner, take a peaceful stroll around the harbour, where the soft glow of the sun casts a dreamlike shimmer over the water. Before you head to bed, Anna will offer an optional nidra session to help you drift into a deep, restful sleep.

The ferry port around 15 minutes by taxi from the airport. You can buy tickets when you get on the ferry – these will cost roughly £35 return.
Transfers to your retreat
Once you arrive at Finnsnes we have a one-hour transfer to the retreat. We will organise a group transfer on the 9th and 14th of July, meeting the above ferries. Transfers in Senja are included in your retreat fee, so all you need to do is book the above ferries and we’ll take care of the rest.
