High in the forests of northern Sweden, where winter casts a deep silence and the snow glitters under pale Arctic skies, we invite you to join us for something truly extraordinary. In partnership with the world-renowned Treehotel, we have created an exclusive wellness retreat where you will sleep among the treetops in award-winning designer treehouses.
This is a place to experience rare stillness: vast skies, endless forests, and the magic of winter all around you. From your stylish room — suspended in the trees — you’ll gaze out over snow-covered landscapes and feel completely immersed in the wild beauty of Lapland.
Mornings begin with a grounding slow-flow yoga practice led by Jean Hall, designed to awaken the body and settle the mind. After a hearty brunch, you have time to explore the winter wilderness: choose snowshoeing across frozen landscapes, foraging walks in the forest, husky sledding, or a gentle horse sleigh ride through the snow.
As daylight fades, we gather again for extended yoga and meditation sessions with Jean, creating space for both strength and softness, movement and stillness.
This far north, evenings carry a special kind of wonder. You’ll dine on delicious three-course dinners created from local ingredients, then wrap up warm for starlit walks through the forest. And with luck — when the skies are clear — you may witness the Northern Lights shimmering above the trees, one of nature’s most breathtaking displays.
Who's Teaching: Jean Hall

Jean teaches a soulful and deep dynamic, slow flow form of yoga. She is known for her unique creative sequencing of postures which helps to draw students and teachers safely beyond limitations and closer to their true potential and confidence through the ancient yogic system of asanas, mindful breathing and meditation with an approach of devotion and playfulness.
You’ll have a 90 minute slow flow class each morning and an 2 hour afternoon session where breath work/pranayama unfolds into a more gentle practice, including yin and restorative poses and deep relaxation (yoga nidra).
Try a free class with Jean here.

We have accommodation for 15 people in 7 completely unique treehouses and 4 traditional Swedish guesthouse rooms.
The treehouses are reached by ramp, bridge or electric stairs. Each has contemporary interiors, cosy bedrooms, a bathroom with a sink and toilet. Showers are located in the treehouse sauna nearby, apart from the Red Cabin, Dragonfly, Biosphere and Seventh room treehouse which have their own shower.
The Biosphere is the newest treehouse created to help facilitate the conservation of the local bird population with a facade containing 350 bird nests. It is accessed via a suspended bridge that slopes from the ground to the top of the trees. The interior incorporates rich dark interiors, and includes a double bed and sitting room area with a glass floor and windows so you can enjoy the view from all angles. It also includes an eco shower and sauna and if there is no snow, you can access a roof terrace close to the treetop canopies that offer a 360-degree views of the forest.
The Mirrorcube is an exciting hide-out among the trees, camouflaged by mirrored walls reflecting their surroundings. The six windows provide a stunning panoramic view. It has a double bed, lounge and toilet. Showers are located in the forest spa close by.
The Cabin is like a capsule in the trees located high up on a sharp hillside overlooking the Lule River valley. It has a double bed, lounge area and toilet and a rooftop terrace. Showers are located in the forest spa close by.
The Red cabin is one of the more spacious treehouses, set on the edge of forest with incredible views over the valley. The treehouse is 22m² and has a double bed downstairs, and a second double bed in the sleeping loft, a cosy living room, and bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The Seventh room is our largest treehouse located ten metres up in the pines. It has two bedrooms, a lounge with spectacular views and a cosy fireplace, a net patio and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
The Dragonfly is another large treehouse mounted six metres above ground on hundred year old pine with magnificent view of the valley. It has two bedrooms, a spacious lounge and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
The Guesthouse rooms are in a traditional Swedish farmhouse surrounded by beautiful nature. The large wooden house looks out over the valley and has 4 quaint and comfortable bedrooms and 2 small lounges on the top floor. One room has an ensuite bathroom and the other share 2 bathrooms and separate toilets. Downstairs is a cosy front room with a fireplace, along with the group dining area and kitchen. While you wont be sleeping up in the trees you’ll be enjoying the incredible forest location, the forest spa and amenities.
Your Swedish menu is created by Swedish chef Linus Lejon. Linus and his team offer a dining experience that captures the authentic essence of the North, so you’ll enjoy a curated menu that highlights the finest local delicacies and seasonal produce, presented with the creative simplicity.
You’ll be served a generous brunch and dinner each day and there will be a plentiful afternoon snack station to enjoy too. We don’t include lunch as the brunch, dinner and snack combo seems to work well here. Most of the excursions include a light lunch too.
Meals are created with quality Swedish ingredients such as reindeer, arctic char and local berries, with great emphasis on using what nature provides in the region.
Vegetarian and vegan meals are possible and our chef can accommodate special dietary needs but please do let us know in advance.
This is an alcohol free retreat.
This retreat is designed for the Comfort Traveller who enjoys cosy luxury but is also ready to wrap up warm and embrace the elements. Winter here means below-freezing temperatures and deep snow — part of the magic of Lapland — and you’ll need to be up for braving the cold. Outdoor activities are exhilarating, from husky sledding to ice plunges, but all are optional and plenty of specialist kit is provided.
The treehouse accommodation is luxury standard, but it isn’t a hotel room. You’ll be sleeping high among the trees in award-winning, off-grid cabins with panoramic windows and a sense of being fully immersed in nature. Most treehouses don’t have their own showers, so you’ll use the shared shower block nearby. If you love the idea of combining yoga, comfort and the raw beauty of the Arctic in a truly unique setting, this is your kind of retreat.

Responsible Retreating in Sweden
We are committed to operating in an environmentally and socially responsible way which includes being transparent about the current eco-credentials for each retreat.
Sustainability and ecological values are two pillars of the Treehotel. The treehouses are built using materials and construction techniques that make as little environmental impact as possible. They are built on live trees without destroying the tree, no other trees are chopped down and there is no other damage to nature. The treehouses are built with an eco-outdoor wood which doesn’t contain any chemical substances.
The treerooms all have good insulation and are warmed up by underfloor heating. The electricity is supplied locally from green hydroelectric power. And the lighting consists of low-energy LED-systems. Daily operations have minimal impact on nature as well. The treerooms have no sewage system and when cleaning, we always use eco-friendly products.
Each room has a modern, environmentally friendly combustion toilet where everything is incinerated at 600 °C. The toilets are completely odourless and powered by electricity. Bathrooms have water-efficient sinks with running water sufficient for washing hands, face and brushing teeth. All wastewater is collected in a container that is emptied daily. Showers are located in a separate building.
