Perched above the coastline near Deià, our retreat home is a place of quiet beauty — a former monastery nestled among ancient olive groves, with sweeping views of the Mediterranean stretching far into the horizon. Wake to stillness each morning and the soft rustle of wind in the trees. You might take an early dip in the pool, or wander barefoot across the terraces, coffee in hand, breathing in the scent of rosemary and sea air.
Our days unfold gently. Mornings begin with Mindful Flow — a slow, steady, grounding yoga practice to awaken body and mind — followed by a generous breakfast served outside on the terrace. Then the hours are yours. Find a shady spot with a book, lie back and gaze at the shifting blue of the sea, or simply listen to the soft soundtrack of sheep bells echoing across the hillside. Book a massage with our brilliant local therapist Melysa, or enjoy the calm company of new friends.
You’ll practice yoga twice a day, delving deep into your practice with a thoughtful blend of flowing asana, pranayama, meditation, and the quieter, stiller practices of yin and restorative yoga. Late evening yoga nidra or guided relaxation sessions are designed to help you drift into a deep, restful sleep.
Midway through the retreat, there’s the option to join a private boat trip along the coast — a chance to explore secret coves and swim in crystal-clear waters only accessible from the sea.
Expect slow, sunny days filled with movement, rest, laughter, nourishing food, magical sunsets, and peaceful starry nights. This is a retreat to replenish body and spirit — and to return home feeling deeply restored.
Who's Teaching: Anna Taylor
Anna is passionate about creating space for people to nurture and nourish themselves through the varied practices of yoga.
Having been teaching since 2008, she is a Senior Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance), an accredited Yoga Therapist (IAYT), Mindfulness & Compassion Teacher and Author. Most importantly she is also a human being who understands that life can be busy, wonderful and complicated, but that yoga supports us in finding greater balance, ease (and joy!) within it.
Anna loves offering retreats that offer people a sense of space both internally and externally. Space is often one of the most precious gifts that we can offer ourselves – space to pause, space to connect, space to move, breathe, be and deeply rest. And while in this wonderful setting in Mallorca we practice amid the stunning, spacious landscape that holds us.
Anna weaves mindfulness and compassion throughout her yoga offerings. It is these essential qualities that enable our practice to become a place of refuge, rather than being a space for performance or perfection. It offers a safe haven for care and connection within the ups and downs that life can bring.
These will be your daily sessions:
* Morning Mindful Flow Yoga – a slow, steady flowing practice to open and ground (sessions include pranayama, relaxation and meditation).
* Afternoon Restful Yoga – offering space for stillness and softening through yin, restorative and therapeutic yoga.
* Pre-sleep sessions – guided yoga nidra and relaxations to support restful sleep.
Journaling prompts will be offered for those wishing to consider ways of weaving our practice into our everyday living. Sessions are open to all levels and variations given so that guests can adapt to their needs.
