Our family owned retreat location is on the northwest coast of Norway, around 1.5 hours from Ålesund and in the middle of the famous Norwegian scenic route. On our doorstep is Reinheimen National Park, several nature reserves and Tafjord, a hidden UNESCO world heritage fjord.
You’ll stay in beautiful, award-winning rooms, designed so that you feel deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. With sumptuous beds and wonderful views, each room blends seamlessly into the surrounding natures and offers complete peace and privacy. At the heart of the retreat is a 100 year-old restored farm building, where the old the cow byre is now a dining room with an open fire, and the old hay store has been turned into the lounge area.
Yoga takes place in a large riverside room, where glass walls look out onto the river and mossy woodlands. Nearby is the bath house, a tranquil and refreshing spa built into the land by the river, where you’ll find a steam room, hot tub, a silent room, showers and our treatment room.
The area around us is a paradise for off the beaten path hiking in quiet and peaceful surroundings. You can explore lovely peaks, ancient mountain farms and wonderful viewpoints.
Who's Teaching: Zephyr Wildman

Zephyr has been a Senior Yoga Teacher in London since 2002. Her teaching is rooted in yoga anatomy and physiology and she blends creative movement, dynamic flow, and precise alignment with a deep understanding of kinesiology. Her classes offer a comprehensive practice that includes asana, pranayama, mudras, kriyas, and mantras. Beyond the physical aspects of yoga asana, Zephyr integrates psychology, yogic philosophy, and self-study into her teaching, fostering a holistic approach to wellness aimed at deepening each student’s personal path to yoga.
On retreat you can expect your classes to begin with time to listen and contemplate philosophy teachings, followed by a strong asana practice, breath work and meditation. Zephyr sometimes like to guide her students through a daily self enquiry journey through journaling and discussion. With over 15 years of experience hosting retreats, Zephyr is dedicated to providing transformative experiences both on and off the mat.
You’ll have a 2 hour morning practice which includes philosophy and breath work, along with an energetic yoga asana flow to awaken your mind and body. your evening practice will be 90 minutes of yin and restorative poses, meditation and deep relaxation.

We have 15 places on this retreat, sleeping in beautifully designed “landscape” and “woodland” cabins, along with 2 Lodge rooms.
Our seven award winning “landscape rooms” are cubes on stilts, with glass walls that offer a striking view of the valley, the forest or the river below. Every room has one or two walls that are entirely built in glass and every room gets its own exclusive view of the landscape. No room looks into another, so the rooms are private even though curtains are not an option! All the rooms have a dark interior to avoid stealing focus from the scenery and include a double bed and a small bathroom. For those sharing these rooms as twin rooms, a very comfortable but smaller second bed will be added to the room.
Our two “woodland” cabins have a minimalist architectural style and resemble a traditional Norwegian log house. The rooms are 8 square metres in total, and provide a comfortable double bed, a small sofa bench and a toilet. The interior is light, with large windows designed to let nature in and smaller windows that provide extra glimpses of the world outside. From the bed, you can look out on the mountainside. The cabins have a small bathroom with only a handheld shower, but the nearby bath house is available for showering around the clock.
The Lodge has two bedrooms, a beautiful living room, kitchen and patio. Set on the side of the valley the lodge has views down the valley, to the river and the mountains beyond. We have a single room and a twin room here, which share a bathroom between them.
Our Norwegian chef will be creating delicious, hearty meals served in the cosy barn. Meals are created with quality Norwegian ingredients such as organic lamb and fresh fish, with great emphasis on using what nature provides in the region.
Vegetarian and vegan meals are possible and our chef can accommodate special dietary needs but please do let us know in advance.
