Our destination is the north west coast Senja island, an incredibly beautiful part of Norway where steep, majestic mountains dive straight into the sea and pearly white beaches line a small archipelago of uninhabited islands. You stay in stylish apartments set around the harbour of an old fishing village with uninterrupted views out to the harbour.
Start your day with an optional cold water dip in the fjord, invigorating your senses before you immerse yourself in a rejuvenating yoga practice with Laura. Each session offers a blend of challenge and mindfulness, as Laura brings her dynamic yet restorative teaching style to the mat. Carefully designed to rejuvenate the heart, mind, and body, her classes offer a holistic experience that supports both your physical growth and spiritual awareness.
Your retreat includes four unforgettable experiences, each designed to connect you with nature and adventure. Begin with a full-day guided hike up Husfjellet mountain, followed by a refreshing swim in the fjord on the way back. Next, embark on an exhilarating E-bike and wild swimming expedition, where you’ll discover the raw beauty of the surroundings. Another day will take you on a hike up Sukkertoppen, rewarding you with breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape.
A true highlight of the retreat is soaking up the magic of the midnight sun on a remote Arctic island, accessible by boat or kayak. Throughout your retreat, you’ll also have the opportunity to unwind with two hot tub and sauna sessions, ensuring you feel restored after each adventure.
For those seeking even more excitement, you can book additional activities such as a kayaking trip, paddle board rental, or a gentle body-rafting experience in an Arctic stream. And, of course, you can always enjoy a rejuvenating fjord dip whenever the mood strikes.
End your day with a soothing yoga session to relax your mind and body after a busy day. After dinner, take a peaceful stroll around the harbour, where the soft glow of the sun casts a dreamlike shimmer over the water, before you head to bed and drift into a deep, restful sleep.

Sharon Bartels –
My first time in Norway and what an introduction! We stayed all the way up in the north, on Senja, which according to the Norwegians is the most beautiful part of the country. Absolutely the most special experience staying in the Arctic Circle with 24 hrs daylight. Besides the energizing, very creative Jivamukti yoga classes taught by one of the most inspiring senior teachers, Emma Henry, there was time for hiking, kayaking, soaking in a hot tub boat (!). For me as a fond photographer I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of the Norwegian nature and scenery, breathtakingly beautiful! And then there was the Midnight Sun. Impossible to put into words, its just pure magic sitting on a rock or standing on top of a hill watching the sun set and come up immediately. Thank you Jools for making this possible, taking care of us with so much dedication and giving us an experience to remember the rest if our lives ??
Belinda Ks –
We signed up for the retreat to Norway within minutes of it becoming a reality. Jools had worked hard to ensure that our travel was memorable via the Hurtigruten along some of the most picturesque Norwegian waters. Five hours of revitalising yoga each day made us both more flexible and stronger. The weather is always unpredictable in Norway and this led to some schedule changes for some of the events – midnight sun hunting for example – which Jools communicated simply and easily. Everyone got the chance to take part in trips. Full marks to Jools for leading the week so practically for the benefit of all of us. She ensured the cohesion of the group whilst being kind and totally approachable.

My time and energy is often given first to my job, my family and my obligations. Reclaim Yourself provided an opening to reclaim time and space for my own care.
